About Me

**I welcome suggestions for new things to review and any comments you would like to leave.** I have been a fan of Scotch since the first time I tried it, a small sip at the age of 12 of what I'm sure was a hugely expensive single malt. Beer came later; I was first exposed to truly good beer at the age of 20 when I studied for a summer in England. As for food, I've always loved it, and was lucky enough that my mom and dad both exposed me to great, varied food as a kid (my father first took me out for sushi at the age of 5; how cool is that?!) My senior year of high school, as a way of avoiding taking any more "real" classes, I took a couple cooking classes and learned that I like creating food, not just eating it. I have yet to find a cuisine that I don't like, and I love trying new foods as often as possible.
